About me
Last year I completed my BA Graphic Design degree at Middlesex University and am eager to engage with new design projects. I really want to continue developing my conceptual thinking and gain experience in a graphic design studio or agency. I enjoy the whole process, from research to initial ideas and creative experimentation necessary to produce interesting design outcomes. Printed design excites me. Personally, it seems the most enjoyable way to experience design. I've always been an admirer of typography and in my spare time have dabbled with designing my own fonts, although this is not something I'm pursuing full time.

  • Finchley Central Art
Finchley Central ArtThis was my first freelance project, and despite the nerves and things I would tweak if I had options to test print, I still really enjoyed the experience and am pleased with the concept. At uni I was part of the Peer Assisted Learning Scheme, which meant I was paid to help the students in the year(s) below me during class. I then applied for the AFHEA (Associate Fellow of Higher Education Award) that was offered to all Student Learning Assistants, which I passed and received a certificate. It was a great experience, and one which facilitated a tendency I have to strive to be a clear and coherant explainer of things. That may sound odd, but it's something I have noticed about myself over the years when I've helped someone to understand something that I understand. I've always considered teaching as a future career once I hopefuly have enough industry experience.
