In my time at Disney Studios I led UK Marketing campaigns for Theatrical and Home Entertainment releases across the Disney Live Action, Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm brands. I was responsible for planning and executing some of the biggest film releases in the UK over the past few years including Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and Incredibles 2 (combined UK box office of £177.4m). My experience includes, but is not limited to: • Localising global marketing strategies to fit UK audiences and implementing across Marketing, Media and Trade • Managing UK marketing campaigns for full product life cycle from theatrical to home entertainment; including online and offline media planning and implementation, team leadership, project and stakeholder management • Content strategy, development and production including roll out across various channels • Using research data and audience insights tools to guide planning, implementation and campaign optimisation • Bottom up budget planning and management, in charge for budgets of £500k - £5m + • Managing and developing junior team members • Talent liaison and management at press junkets, tours and premieres • Managing media and 3rd party brand partnerships from an internal perspective • Campaign analysis and evaluation, using learnings to assist with planning future campaigns • Working across different business functions including; music, retail, licensing, partnerships, travel, finance, legal. • Working with media and creative agencies, including briefing and managing of campaigns • Strategy and implementation of influencer campaigns • Presenting and pitching to peers and senior management • Legal and licensing around IP and individual projects
At Disney Store I was responsible for leading on various Disney Franchises including Miles from Tomorrow, Cars, The Good Dinosaur, Tsum Tsum and Star Darlings; working alongside internal and external stakeholders to organise marketing support on new product launches and sustainment strategies. I provided campaign support on several other Franchises, including Star Wars, Marvel and Zootropolis to maximise Disney Store coverage, working alongside other lines of business to leverage new opportunities to assist in cost efficiencies and assist budget control. My responsibilities and notable achievements included: • Managed marketing campaigns for UK and EMEA. • Trade marketing strategy development and execution • Event management for product launch and seasonal in store events • Promotions with internal and external partners • Creative briefing • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Being the key contact between other lines of business and Disney Store teams, communicating effectively to ensure effective alignment with wider business needs. • Research and insights – develop understanding to improve campaigns. • Devising and implementing new creative approval process across markets to improve Marketing and Creative workflow efficiency thus leading to cost efficiencies in the printing process.
