A final year student from Malaysia, studying Fashion design pathway at Teesside University. Possesses strong knowledge in CAD skills, with certification in Adobe Illustration and Photoshop, and is experienced with CLO 3D. Knowledgeable in sewing and pattern-cutting skills.   • The Dancing Curves
    The Dancing CurvesThis project was part of my university’s module and it was a collaborative project with some of the students from Marmara University in Turkey. This project challenged the use of different weight knit fabrics and to accommodate our designs to the knit fabrics. We were inspired by nature, and my designs were mainly inspired by the textures and shapes from nature, sculptures, ceramics etc.

    Hinterra- The Forgotten SpacesThis project was done in collaboration with the WECreate team and I was a student researcher. I was the costume designer and I had to design and make the costumes for the dancers. This project includes screen dancing and it aims to respond to the environment in Malta. As required, I would need to create the costumes that would talk about the age and ‘weight of the past’.   • The Coastal_The Illegal Catch
    The Coastal_The Illegal CatchThis garment was made with recycled denim and the accessories were also made from scrap fabrics. This garment was made based on the theme ‘The Coastal’ from the Festival of Thrift 2021. I was inspired by the fishermen’s life, surroundings and the patterns on the waters as it washed up the shore. This garment was also showcased at the Fashion show in the festival and it aims to promote sustainable living.

    Assisted in pattern-cutting and toiling for clients. Amend toiles and pattern drafts after fittings and helped with alterations. Created designs and sourced fabrics based on the client's brief. Helped with the production order and run errands to collect and deliver items to clients. In June, I worked as a freelance machinist with them.
