- FibreLab x ReGo collaboration projectThree tote bag designs were made using sustainable methods, such as upcycling waste materials and using shredded fabric for quilting. In collaboration with Project ReGo, the bags were embellished with waterjet-cut metal from knives taken off the streets. - Morley College Fashion Presentation: Retro TechMy conceptual collection was part of the fashion presentation hosted by Morley College. It was a great way to end and celebrate my HND Fashion course. The theme of the presentation was "Retro Tech". The fashion presentation was shown in Shoreditch on 4th September.
- The Search For Comfort- conceptual fashion collectionMy concept explores the search for comfort. What do we do to find comfort and why? For this collection, I used inspiration from my childhood, Harajuku fashion, anime, sweets and soft fabrics. For each design, I ensured the garments showed signs of the reasons why we find comfort. These are: immaturity, escaping reality, stress-relief and nostalgia With this collection, I wanted to convey this message: we all need comfort, we all want to be comforted.
