About me
A multifaceted writer of books, film reviews, poetry and articles. I pride myself in being able to do it all. I enjoy writing about Black community and culture, exposing ideas embedded within them adding insight into the worth of it all, human nature and the reality of building upon mentality within ourselves. I aspire to learn every aspect of writing and conquer it all, essentially a Jack of all trades - but a master of some. The end goal is to write novels, film scripts, and TV shows. The work in-between is just my journey so far. Open to work with people who have the same ideals.

Stanhope Review“I like to think that taking somebody’s life away is my own Superpower” – Stanhope” A spin of the camera grasps attention as fading text highlights this short film is based on true events. From the first scene, Stanhope is an attractive insight into the socialisation of a 13-year-old contract killer. Even though this short film was released in 2015, it was beautiful enough to sink me into a setting.
  • Parasite Review
Parasite ReviewWhen we watch film, TV, documentaries and live performance, I assume we all want to be immersed in a new perspective and an experience expressible within our intelligible world. When familiar or merely astonished, we can denote what makes a good, great or at times even spectacular showing. Hence foreign films tend to be refreshing spectacles, introductions into new modes of life our socially convenient bubbles may not invite. Unless you are a cinephile decorated with an eccentric range of apprec

Joker - Remember.. That's Life, a non spoiler film reviewRating: 4.5/5 Runtime: 2H 2M Director: Todd Phillips Production Company: Warner Bros, DC Films, Village Roadshow Pictures A stark contrast of surroundings illuminates Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) as he sits in front of a mirror applying his infamous face mask. A zooming camera shot hints toward surrounding activity, a working days score of everyday noises ambience in chatter, card games and radio play, and the odd man himself, Arthur, who is not engaged with anything except his own face.

I contributed to the SAFE Anthology put together by Derek Owusu. It is a brilliant project that compiles 20 Black British Men writing from their different perspectives of life. This anthology has found itself on the shelves of library’s, been used as talking points in events and panels, and generally offers a powerful scope on Black British Men’s lives and the perspectives that gave birth to their creative endeavours.
