About me
Julia Denni is a content-led designer specialising in digital content and web design. Based in Cornwall, Julia creates beautiful, functional and responsible solutions for clients around the world. Drawing on her experience in media and corporate communications, Julia is skilled in evaluating and defining the needs of her clients, bringing clarity of purpose and offering thoughtful creative directions. A passionate and meticulous researcher, Julia describes her style as “visual storytelling.” Her design process begins simply, with a conversation, a pencil and a piece of paper. As she connects dots and plugs gaps, ideas take shape organically. “The groundwork”, she explains, “is the skeleton. You put on flesh and clothes and dress the skeleton up. We’re making ghosts into beings.” Julia is always open to new commissions and collaborations, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Portfolio currently being updated.

  • Welcome to Gaza convoy, 2013
Welcome to Gaza convoy, 2013The goal of the convoy was to produce English-language media content to help amplify the Palestinan narrative to audiences in the most complicit Israel-supporting Western states from where most of the convoy members originate. The convoy entered Gaza from Egypt via the Rafah Border in early July 2013 — during the Egyptian Revolution — for four weeks. Convoy members included of journalists (citizen, independent and commercial), photographers, filmmakers, media students, activists and mental health professionals — from diverse backgrounds, all of them were people of conscience, deeply passionate about the Palestinian cause. Some participants were second and third general Palestinians refugees, whose families were displaced by Israel in 1948. Some of them had never seen their homeland before. You can see below a sample of photographs produced during the convoy.
