I'm Julia a Graphic Designer and Illustrator living in London, UK. In the past I worked as an in-house designer for several companies – nowadays I'm working as a freelancer and consultant.
My design work ranges from branding, web design, to marketing collaterals and editorials. I like to keep it simple but colourful with a strong emphasis on grid and layout systems.
When it comes to illustrations I like to take a break from the screen by using traditional tools such as watercolours, gouache or pen and ink.
In my spare time, I like to improve my calligraphy skills, explore the world of analogue photography or work on self-initiated projects.

- Shared Property Data // Brand Identity, Website & PrintShared Property Data (SPD) is a B2B startup, providing a business application for commercial surveyors. Asked was to create a new brand identity including logo, brand colours, typography, website and image library. The new branding should represent a young, agile, pioneering though still serious business.
- Strong Women PortraitsIn October 2018 I decided to participate in the 30 days challenge called 'Inktober". During this month I drew every day one portrait of a 'strong' women throughout history. Usually with ink but sometimes mixing up with pencils. The whole experience was very challenging but I'm very happy with the results. Joining the start-up SPD in an early stage of the business I was involved not only in everyday design tasks but in various stages of the product design. My tasks consisted of establishing a brand identity and implementing a design strategy across different platforms, producing branded marketing content and designing a corporate website. In terms of product design, my main focus lied on UX/UI design. This included wire-framing, user testing and analytics, present and defend product milestones and overviewing design implementation.
