About me
London-based filmmaker with 7-years experience in directing and editing corporate, live-action and documentary films. Working with a combination of Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop, I have a hands-on approach to problem-solving and see obstacles as an opportunity to be creative. I enjoy teamwork and one-on-one collaborations with clients and always meet deadlines. I have an eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture and pride myself for my prompt and efficient turnarounds.
Projects
  • Actus Reus
Actus ReusI wrote and later directed a short film about misogyny and rape at a time in Italy when the law seriously hindered women's rights. A dinner table turns into a courtroom after a lawyer pays an unexpected visit at Judge Casto's family home. She says she needs a reference, but it soon becomes apparent she has an ulterior motive. The Judge has acquitted the three men that raped her client and the lawyer is ready to get justice her own way. What starts as a conversation piece turns into a Shakespear
  • Nizar
NizarA a short-form documentary by Mirco Valenza about a Tunisian refugee turned MMA champion. We gave the story the same energy of Netflix documentaries of the likes of Wild Wild Country and Don’t F*** With Cats, with an engaging rhythm, creative use of cutting and compelling music. The documentary entered Oscar-qualifying Busan International Short Film Festival.
  • Ivory Stage
Ivory StageI wrote, directed and edited this short film about an investigative journalist who infiltrates a rich businessman's house following rumours that he's hired underage escorts. But the secret she uncovers reveals itself an improbable solution to the suffering she's carried within for years. During her time with him, the line between truth and fictions begins to blur and the journalist will have to choose one of the two.
  • Rituals
RitualsDirected by Daisy Moore, I co-wrote this award-winning short film with her. Since childhood, Daisy's family have shared the ritual of going to their caravan in Friog, Wales. Whilst her sister looks to the sky, the stars and the galaxy, Daisy can’t help but look into the mirror that is the blue lake. What will happen when the lake lures her to look past her reflection. The short film was later selected for BFI Network's "This Month's Pick"
  • La Malaerba
La MalaerbaA short film I wrote with Annalisa Elba, directed by Mirco Valenza, about the young manager of a bridal dress shop who rediscovers herself through the ambiguous bond with her boyfriend's brother. The short film premiered in Italy's renowned Giffoni Film Festival.
  • Everything But The Cow 10K Run
Everything But The Cow 10K RunA short edit I made showing the 10K Nottingham Run sponsored by Everything But The Cow.
