I'm a fine woodworker and furniture designer. Originally from Argentina, I've lived in London for the past 3 years.
I believe in creating pieces of the highest quality, both in terms of the design of the piece and the craftsmanship that goes into building them. I often take cues from classic and timeless styles, but keep an eye to the trends of today and an open mind to what's on the horizon.
I'm a graduate of the Fine Woodworking course with a focus in furniture design at the Building Craft College in London.
Projects
- Oscura ChairThe extroverted Oscura Chair is a a one-off, hand shaped piece that takes cues from the classic Windsor and adds the attitude of a lounge. As I created this chair, I wanted to share my experience of working so closely with the wood – really feeling it – to the person who would eventually sit in it. Place a cup of tea on the oversized arms and connect to the wood through the exposed, angled grain, using touch as a key element to the experience. Although Oscura is considered a “corner chair” it can happily play the protagonist role in any room.
- The Entryway TableThe Entryway Table is a small piece of furniture, presented with the intended objective to help the experience of sorting mail. It can be dynamic as the shape suggests but this isn’t the only way – a user can always sit down and take their time. The choice of materials and the design are based on the room intention, adding a bit of style.
