wholina is Julina Vanille Bezold, I am a German-Swiss conceptual body designer and researcher.
With collected impressions from Florence (Polimoda), Amsterdam (Fashion Institute), Copenhagen (The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design) and Maastricht (Academy of Fine Arts & Design) I now look through the lens of conceptual, social, artistic, scientific and philosophical design (thinking).
What drives me is the human being in all its facets. The body as its shell is the ultimate environment for my work.
I produce garment and jewelry collections, work in theatre productions as a costume and stage designer, write and implement concepts for performances. I bred life in Petri dishes as a scientific design intern for Sruli Recht, and made a concept film for my project qi, which I also directed. Sometimes I do graphic design / illustration too.
