The reason why we wanted to set up Biennale at this time is to simply celebrate the end of the Atomic Era that Chernobyl has been associated with for almost a century. - Wako & Seiko Christmas Window DisplayPentagram was commissioned by Wako, in collaboration with Seiko, to design their Christmas window displays 2019. I was part of the Yuri Suzuki's team on the project. We designed three external displays alongside interior installations to create a multidimensional and interactive walking cinematic experience for passers-by. They leave us feeling fulfilled and comforted. Sometimes they are just mindless escapes.
