About me
Kate is a London based stylist, creative director and producer with a background that spans across multiple industries including film, fashion, music, celebrity and commercial advertising. During and since her study at university Kate has assisted stylists such as Grace Woodward, Nicole Smallwood, Charlie Lambros and Clementine O’Hara to build her professional and practical skills. Since graduating with a 1st Class degree in BA (Hons) Fashion Styling, Kate moved to London to pursue personal projects that have included editorials for Chasseur Online, Kaltblut Online, Lost Freedom, As You Are, Coco and Petrie Inventory. Most recently Kate became a resident stylist at TMRW magazine providing brand/image fit styling for featured artists and editorials. Transferring her creative insight into film lead Kate to the position of Wardrobe Stylist & Costumer, expressing her style of strong narrative and stylish execution through an alternative medium has broadened her creative insight and strengthened her production skills to which she applies to all styling briefs. Working regularly with musicians and artists has provided the chance to style within another arena of creativity. Working with promotional material, live performances and music videos has shown the versatility of Kate’s skills to tailor each project to the image of the client. In addition to styling, Kate focuses on the creative concept side to image creation not only offering the client with well styled garments but to construct ‘the essence’ of the image. As part of her work ethic, Kate approaches every job with a high standard of professionalism and enthusiasm. Regularly in contact with a dedicated team of creative’s from all industries Kate is able to provide services from styling to full project production. Each client being as individual as the next, she aims to take into consideration all their needs, visions and objectives and provide a visual pitch for each project.

- The Body Fe:MaleDissertation Practice - Evaluation The Fe:Male Body Capturing a body on camera solidifies identity in one framed picture. The way an individual relates to the camera can tell you a lot about who they are in that moment. Art and photography is often referred to as having a specific mood. How does the viewer feel an emotional response and gain understanding of identity from a single frame? - Healing HumansBased on TCM and the practice of acupressure, I created weighted jewellery pieces that sit over pressure points, to relax the wearer. These pieces can be pushed and rolled, creating the meditative benefits of the shiatsu technique. Bracing pieces enforce good posture, reducing the overstraining of muscles. Designed on the phycology of touch, a soft fabric is interwoven between the jewellery pieces, stimulating the c-tactile fibres that convey the emotional quality of touch, soothing the mind.
