About me
Lively, confident, organised, supportive and sociable. These are the five words that best describe me, and I believe with these positive traits, I can achieve any design and work I wish to carry on. My strong motivation helps me advance further to a certain goal I make, raising my standards higher to work harder. The most important part of working in a group is to work strong together and always support each other. Whoever I work with, I tend to support people, cheering them with energy and joy. Even in various hardships, I tend to find my way through without causing problems with my colleagues and always showing respect first.

  • EXIT sign
EXIT signMore than expected, people heavily rely on signs to guide themselves in and out of locations. With that idea, I wanted to test out if signs can change an individual’s perception of how a certain place looks and whether it could change the perceived atmosphere of the place. I placed exit signs on top of photos of shops, restaurants and streets near me to see how differently that location looks with that one exit sign. Surprisingly, because the sign was placed on top, everyone entering that place seemed like they were leaving the place rather than entering it. It was interesting to see how one strong word can affect how a photo is seen from another perspective.
  • Collage of various expressions within an emotion
Collage of various expressions within an emotionFor each of the six basic emotions (anger, happiness, surprise, disgust, sadness and fear), I constructed a situation that would best bring out the six basic emotions in me. Since every indi- viduals perceive situations in a different way, I was curious to see if there was a general understanding or if individuals often reactedthesamewayIdotogivensituations.Todothis,Iasked a few people to make one facial expression after I read out each situation, and I photographed a facial expression for all six emotions to compare them with my own. Using the different emotion results for each situation, I collaged all the interesting characteristics that were visibly shown for each situation, then recreated the emotion into a distorted face made up with dif- ferent points from different people.
