Projects
- Self-brandingOngoing work I've been creating based on the idea of creating a brand for myself based around my surname. Früchtenicht can be literally translated from German into English as 'no fruit' so I've been focussing my attentions on trying to create graphics and typography which convey that as simply as possible. Playing with creating typography which incorporates a strikethrough effect, whilst combining the umlaut is something which I think has worked quite well throughout this process.
- Website work.I recently decided to try and make the contact details section on my website a bit more fun, and wanted to work on the skills I have been trying to learn when it comes to making animated illustrations. This is the result! I'm happy with how it turned out, however I'm sure I'll end up changing it again in no time.
- Celebrations and milestonesAn ongoing project I decided to pursue, purely because I had noticed that there seemed to be a lack of greetings cards or gifts for certain family set ups. I plan to continue working on these, and include cards / illustrations for adoptive parents, adopted children etc. I also want to focus on big milestones in gay and transgender peoples lives such as coming out.
