About me

I work around the themes of surrealism and abstraction, while focusing heavily around weirdness, colour, sexuality, bodies and other-worldliness. Throughout my work I experiment with distortion of the form, using various lenses and camera mediums, as well as the digital manipulation of colours and my subjects. I enjoy distorting my subjects, I see it as turning people into beings that are unknown, while redefining what we see as ‘the norm’.

  Female Wonders‘Female Wonders’ explores the concept of sex and sexuality seen within modern day pop culture. Using influences from her childhood, Kayesha’s series is heavily inspired by the movement bodies have within a game of twister and the interaction with one another.
