PULP

Alien. Incongruous. Bizarre. Divergent. Extraneous. Unpredictable. Freakish. Outlandish. Peculiar. Idiosyncratic. Quirky. Unorthodox. Eccentric. Schismatic. Nonconformist. Arbitrary. Monstrous. Gross. Weird. Uncanny. Super-Human. Unearthly. Disturbing Beauty. Pulp is a body of work that explores disturbing beauty; breaking the rules of the ideal beauty standards and investigating beauty out of this world. I experiment with distortion of the form, using various lenses and camera mediums, as well as the digital manipulation of colours and form of my subjects. The message within the series of images is to create new ways of seeing and idolising the body, and how we should reposition ourselves whilst admiring the human form.
