About me
I'm an illustrator and visual artist with a deep interest in food and culture. My inspirations range from classical Japanese Ukiyo-e art to traditional Chinese medicine labels and Victorian headstones. I have had the pleasure of working with clients such as the Independent and Vittles, as well as having my work displayed in the New-York Historical Society Museum.

    Dumpling FingersThis illustration was commissioned by Vittles UK to support an article by Jenny Lau on the significance of the Rice Dumpling 粽子 (Zong Zi) in Chinese culture. It explores its history, folklore and mythic tales; each with varying levels of outlandishness. The historical anecdote which I found most intriguing was that rice dumplings were once a popular offering food during a time of dragon-worship.
