About me
I'm an illustrator and visual artist with a deep interest in food and culture. My inspirations range from classical Japanese Ukiyo-e art to traditional Chinese medicine labels and Victorian headstones. I have had the pleasure of working with clients such as the Independent and Vittles, as well as having my work displayed in the New-York Historical Society Museum.

It explores its history, folklore and mythic tales; each with varying levels of outlandishness. The historical anecdote which I found most intriguing was that rice dumplings were once a popular offering food during a time of dragon-worship.
