- Waves of Fear, 2017Waves of Fear is a body of work that generated after a visit to the Kodak Paper Factory in Middlesex. Due to close at the end of 2016, disused parts of the facility were being scavenged to recover large groups of expired colour negative paper. Awaiting recycling in organised stacks, the materials were left in the open for an unknown period of time allowing corrosive signs of atmospheric damage to clearly become visible. MAGAZINE Set in the 19/20th century era of classical circus antiquity, the initial idea of the shoot was inspired by Bruce Davidson, an American photographer who captured a series of members of the circus. Being part of a circus back in the 19/20th century gave ‘neglected’ people a purpose, a family, they felt comfortable with the people who they were with.
