I recently graduated from the University of St Andrews, with an MA in English and Management. The skills my degree and extra-curricular engagements have cultivated include the ability to write for various audiences, critical thinking and reasoning, as well as a strong penchant for content creation and strategy. I have been honing this skillset through Google's 'Fundamentals of Digital Marketing' course, as well as through the Havas and M&C Saatchi 'Open House' programmes, whilst also writing short stories and articles for publication on my blog: Splashed Canvas. Recently, a short story I wrote was published on the Kenyan platform - The Finite Jest (https://www.thefinitejest.com/fiction/housewarming).
- M&C Saatchi Open House - WinnersIn a team of seven, we ideated a campaign pitch for the telecommunications company, O2, within a week. This included strategy and insights, the big idea, mocked-up deliverables such as a TVC script, Snapchat/ Instagram stories, an execution timeline, and a media plan. The pitch was presented to and judged by executives from M&C Saatchi, including the CEO and Managing Director of M&C Saatchi Sport and Entertainment. It was also judged by O2's Head of Brand and Consumer Marketing Communications.
- UBUNTU: The University of St Andrews African and Caribbean Society Showcase.These are graphics I created for UBUNTU as the Head of Media and Publicity. I utilised Xara Designer Pro, and photos taken by our Photography team (@Abby Harding). I used dark background colours in order to evoke a feel of sleekness, and luxury, as befitting a fashion show. In addition, I chose the theme 'Confluence' for the showcase, which is evoked in the graphic through the mirror images, and the intersection of lines in the second image.

In this month-long internship, I wrote copy for several films, as well as for the leading independent film awards organisation in the United Kingdom. I also engaged in influencer management, from inviting influencers to film premieres to suggesting relevant influencers for movie promotions. This resulted in a successful influencer Instagram campaign for a YA film. I implemented a novel method through which influencer statistics could be added to the databases, thereby streamlining the otherwise lengthy process.

I studied MA (Hons) English and Management and graduated with First Class Honours. For my 2nd Year 'Enterprise and Creativity' module, I created a marketing plan and executed it on socials for a business started by our team - The St Andrews Smoothie Co. In Third and Fourth Year, my Management modules included 'Advertising and Marketing Communications' and 'International Marketing' - both of which equipped me with the business acumen required to succeed in the industry. Moreover, my English modules all honed my writing skills and pushed my creative spirit!
