I’m a concept driven designer and creativity is one of my strongest points. I tend to think outside the box. I have the ability to conceive and construct entertaining ideas. My creativity is demonstrated in various forms, from layouts to 3 dimensional models. I like to work on all aspects of the design process from the brainstorming sessions, to the final outcome.
I enjoy being part of a team and have done many collaborative projects while at UAL. I am always keen to learn new skills, as well as exploring different directions. I am very aware of the importance of teamwork in the design environment but will never ignore the value of good manners. I’m also capable of working independently as well as in a team.
I’ve always been a good listener and give my full attention to someone to hear their clear and concise opinions and instructions. I have developed strong analytical and diagnostic skills whilst working under pressure on design briefs where my problem solving abilities have paid off.
I possess a good working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and basic knowledge of Premiere Pro, QuickTime Player, Final Cut Pro, Flash, Word, combined with good internet and keyboard skills. I also have talent and skill with both digital & SLR cameras.
I am very interested in other areas of the arts such as photography and animation. I’ve always been captivated by the moving image so much that I worked in a cinema and also did A Level Film Studies. I’m a sporty guy who is football crazy. I enjoy being part of a team in both work and sport and have played in many teams since an early age.
Projects
- Cereal KillersA mosaic wall mural of a serial killer with tesserae being breakfast cereal. Hannibal Lecter was chosen by Creative Review to be included in a post on their blog, it was amongst the highlights of the LCC Graphic degree show. The preferred cereals I used as tesserae are Froot Loops, Weetos & Cheerios. I have four pieces of work on display in Cereal Killer Cafes, two in London, UK, the other two in Kuwait.
