Born in Honduras, Central America in 1991. My background includes studies and work in visual communication and systems thinking. I’m especially pas- sionate about documentary content, photography, editorial design, and youth culture.
Design has become an ideation process for all my work. It is a mindset, a way of seeing and talking about reality that recognizes the interrelatedness of things, therefore coming up with solutions that emphasize the emergent properties of the whole. I’m not interested in the “what if?” but instead in the “how else?”.
Projects
- Crossroads KitchenA cultural movement that aims to constructing a dialogue and meaningful interactions between Icelandic locals and tourists through an alternative tourism experience. Together with a team composed of an architect, anthropologist, graphic, visual, and product designers of the Iceland Academy of the Arts, we ideated the development of a system capable of renaming its actors: hosts and guests are invited to a hybrid space that is both an alternative travel agency and a cooking room. We see the first crossroads as a starting-seed where roles are switched. International guests offer a meal to local hosts during their trip. Food becomes a holistic, horizontal experience for mindfully connecting and engaging.
- VOYAGERVoyager is a collection of my personal travel documentations, ideas, and design projects. It is a platform created from the desire to unlock foreign cultures through the creative eye, a movement towards freedom, and an open invitation to work collectively across borders. The project evolved as product of my graduate design studies at the Iceland Academy of the Arts.

KVISTUR is a creative collective between me and Tómas Miller. Out of our need to create visuals that inspire others and ourselves, we decided to give life to a graphic design studio that could act as a creative outlet and a medium that could later morph into a cultural movement to empower collaboration between emergent creative minds in Iceland and across the world.
