LeoGami, is a filmmaker, digital artist, and curator of Malagasy and Spanish descent. Born in Paris and raised in London, he has been involved in the creative industry since the age of 16, and has honed his skills in visual storytelling and entrepreneurship through his diverse experiences. With over a decade of professional experience, LeoGami has worked with esteemed brands such as the Hayward Gallery, where he served as an in-house filmmaker and had several of his short films screened at the British Film Institute, winning both a best story and best picture award. He has also worked with the BBC as a documentary filmmaker, and with Livity as a freelance filmmaker, creating corporate and campaign marketing films for companies like Nike, Mindshare, MTV, and Sony BMG, as well as a documentary about pop culture in Paris for Current TV.
LeoGami is the founder of his own production company, Invincible Frames, where he has continued to work with renowned clients such as Channel 4, Accenture, and EY.
LeoGami's entrepreneurial spirit was evident from a young age, and at 17 he founded his own creative agency with the support of Tim Campbell, a successful venture capitalist. This investment allowed LeoGami to further develop his skills in visual communication and storytelling and enabled him to launch his career in the creative industry. With Tim Campbell's backing, LeoGami was able to turn his passion into a thriving business and establish himself as a leader in his field. This experience not only showcased LeoGami's entrepreneurial abilities but also demonstrated his ability to secure investment and build successful partnerships.
LeoGami has a deep commitment to community engagement and social impact, as demonstrated by his involvement with Tate Modern. As part of a Hyundai Commission, he was responsible for renaming the main art building, formerly known as "The Boiler House," to "Natalie Bell" in honour of a local social hero dedicated to the betterment of the nearby community of SE1. This project showcased Fabien's ability to bring communities together and celebrate local heroes and demonstrated his dedication to using his platform to create positive change in the world. His involvement with Tate Modern highlights his passion for art and his commitment to using creativity to make a difference in the world.
In addition to his commercial work, LeoGami has a passion for innovation and has been running the platform "nft_community" since 2015. This platform curates exhibitions and educational workshops on web3, AI, coding, and NFTs, and is in the process of building a web platform to support digital artists and serve as a cultural hub.
LeoGami's platform, nft_community, has experienced tremendous growth over the last two years, growing to a massive community of 195K followers on Instagram. As a result of its success, nft_community has been commissioned to work on digital art exhibitions around the world, including 3 exhibitions in New York, 2 in London, and a week-long digital art festival called NFT Rio in Brazil. This growth is a testament to LeoGami's expertise in the digital art world and his ability to curate and bring together a community of individuals with a shared passion. The success of nft_community highlights LeoGami's dedication to promoting and supporting digital artists, and his commitment to creating a vibrant, inclusive platform for artists and art lovers alike.
