About me
After studying Magazine Journalism & Feature Writing, I achieved my goal of co-building a successful online digital magazine – L’ART Magazine – in 2011. I since started to explore different avenues to further feed my passion for writing and communication, whilst continuing to run the site until 2021.
Liaising with PR companies for L’ART really opened my eyes to my love for PR and shoot production. For 4+ years I have been working in PR and enjoy continuing to learn and grow within companies who are dedicated to representing a brand.
I have had PR and sample management experience with Coffin on Cake PR (now GUNG Ho Communications) and Cath Kidston and Boden as a Sample & Shoot Administrator, further developing my knowledge and skills within creative production.
I thoroughly enjoy working closely with a product, have excellent writing, proof reading and subbing skills and strive to succeed in a creative role that allows me to feed my passion for production and PR.

• Responsible for the logging and storing of photo and stills samples for Womenswear and Menswear; Jersey, Knitwear, Accessories, Structured and Wovens
• Receive, unpack and log seasonal samples for the Buying and shoot teams
• Ensuring all samples are logged onto the system and send reports to BAA’s, ensuring good communication with received samples
• Liaising with Buying and Shoot Assistants with received samples
• Keep track of BAA’s comments regarding incorrect samples and ensuring they are removed from the sample room and updated on our amendments document
• Support Sample Manager with adhoc tasks including pulling for shoots
• Support Sample Manager prepare for busy periods using the critical path by tracking supplier sample deadlines and general upkeep of the sample room
• Preparing rails for Buying team – unpacking and steaming Development and/or Buying samples for review meetings
• Arranging and organising handover for Womenswear, Menswear and Retail samples
• Photo shoots;
• Assisting the wider creative team with adhoc tasks – assisting stylist on Ecomm shoots; running through fit guides on set, preparing rails, steaming clothes and acting as a runner on set

Sample & Shoot Administrator: Sample management; Receive, track and pack all seasonal samples for the creative production team, update sample notes on the Excel tracker spreadsheet, pack samples and props for photo shoots, liaise with Buying teams with sample queries, send samples to the studio to be shot alongside any important retouching notes.
Photo shoots; act as a runner on shoot locations, steam clothes, organize samples needed for each shoot day, pack all samples away. Editorial; create a captions document for seasonal direct mail, build an image database where all photo shoot images can be accessed.
