Freelance Designer & ModelLondon, United Kingdom
About me
I have just moved to London from New Zealand after completing my bachelors degree in Industrial Product Design, at The University of Canterbury (Christchurch, New Zealand). I am currently looking for freelance design and modelling work. University has taught me excellent time management and the importance of deliverables. I was involved in netball at an elite level for the Canterbury region, which allows me to work with a range of people cohesively. Being Head Girl of Mount Maunganui College in 2018 has given me essential leadership skills. This helped me become an understanding and outgoing person. These skills have allowed me to fulfil roles such as caring for an autistic child and modelling for Katarina Model Management. The ability to understand others aids me in providing visually appealing designs to engage and maintain audience attention. My experiences have made me an approachable, hardworking team member who is willing to try new things with a determined mindset.

Industrial Product Design has given me a range of skills that'll help me in the work force. Through out the degree I became familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Photoshop, InDesign and AdobeXD. The knowledge I have surrounding these applications allows me to create visually engaging and appealing content. Through AdobeXD I immerse myself in the users position and can design applications which are user-friendly and maintain flow. I am now proficient in Computer Aided Design (CAD), using applications such as Fusion360 and SolidWorks. In these applications I can create 3D designs incorporating different mechanics, textures and colours. Group work was a core part of my degree. I have gained skills on how to lead members, divide tasks for different strengths, resolve conflict, give and take constructive criticism and numerous other communication skills. My effective leadership and management stems from my marketing, management and psychology courses.
