My role at this company was that of the main creative, working alongside the head of marketing to create visually appealing and impacting designs for our clients in the finance sector.
My job would entail me working across all sort of mediums such as web, email, print, social media and more.
Being the only creative here and being so young in the industry I had to learn the ropes myself, making mistakes along the way, but coming back much stronger on the opposite end.

Since starting graphic design I have always tried to land work as a freelancer, not just to make ends meet, but also to get that diversity in my portfolio, being able to check all the boxes of what I wanted to properly go into.
Being a freelance has taught me a lot, I have failed a few times, messed up with clients and dealt with all the dramas that come with that, but it has given me the opportunity to grow in this vibrant industry.

I decided to study at Sheffield because of the facilities, teachings and good reputation I had heard from research I had done.
My time at the university was a great experience, but was sadly fallen flat during my final year with COVID19 pandemic making it a much harder situation than it needed to be.
Regardless, I learned a lot from being at the university, they showed me how to become the designer I want to be and “You can’t do that” was never the answer to anything. I was driven to make the best outcomes of my work and helped at every avenue.
During my final year, I decided to pick up UI/UX, which was great because if my love for technology, as well as creating big brain boggling projects that have great results in the end, it was the most fun I had, learning something new that I had never thought about doing at all.
Completing the course, along with the my third year of UI/UX gave me a full title degree of Bachelors of Arts with Honours in Graphic Design: User Experience.
