About me
Fresh from a three year Fashion Promotion degree at Ravensbourne University, I am keen to develop skills and experience in the real world of fashion promotion. My dissertation gave me the opportunity to research my passion for the future of fashion retailing, both on line and in store, with emphasis on the importance of great visual communication and exceptional customer experience. I have been an expert shopper from the age of four. I am a sociable, hard working and love to get stuck into projects. I am happy to get my hands dirty and always willing to learn. My real strength lies in communicating visual stories, which I think is key to retail success. I would love a job that keeps me on my feet, challenges me and allows me to help develop and move forward with a brand.
Projects
  • Bowden Smith
Bowden SmithThis project is the creation of a handbag destination store – not just to celebrate the joys of owning great handbags, but to build a sustainable business from the gap in the market for good handbag designers, as recognized by the British Council, and take advantage of the huge potential of bags for men, as researched by Mintel. Bowden Smith sets itself apart from other handbag stores by searching out and supporting fresh new talent, focusing on post-MA level students starting to establish themselves and collaborating with a range of other designers, artists and artisans to produce quality British bags for men and women, retailing at a mid to high price point. Key elements in the Bowden Smith campaign are brand aesthetics, packaging, the retail space, on-line presence, seasonal advertising campaigns and launch event.
