About me
A driven and enthusiastic fashion journalism graduate looking to craft a portfolio career within the realms of journalism and PR. The main fields I am interested in are fashion and the arts, however I am also happy to write about all sorts from music to politics to travel. My dream career would involve editing and commissioning for creative projects, being a strong point of reference between fashion brands and innovative press and coordinating events... but for now I'm happy to help out with anything which involves content generation, pr & marketing, social media management and styling.
Projects
  • Juicy Mag Volume 1
Juicy Mag Volume 1Juicy is a printed fashion title which explores youth’s idea of what might be retro or nostalgic. That’s often encompassing but in no way limited to the Nineties and Noughties. More than this, it looks at how this affinity for the past is expressed through online culture… "This new launch looks back to the time when Juicy by Biggie was in the charts, Paris wore Louis Vuitton, and Kim wore velour tracksuits. It celebrates the excesses of the noughties, indulging in the tackiness of the phones, nightlife, and style. It acknowledges this nostalgia comes from the internet, instagrams, tumblrs and the lawless liberties we can all take with intellectual property for a cool feed." - MagCulture
Work history
    Social Media Intern
     - London, United KingdomInternship
Through my role as social media intern at Illustrated People, I have held a relationship with the brand returning often to help out. During my permanent placement there I managed and revamped the social media and generated content for the blog. This ultimately drove sales. I also took on administrative and retail responsibilities plus occasionally contributing to design elements and coordinating events.
