About me
I have recently finished a product development internship at Acne Studios and am looking to start a new position in a high end fashion brand. I have experience working in both a factory setting and a product development team giving me a strong overview of the development process.
I am passionate about design and quality craftsmanship leading to sustainable production and am excited at the prospect of expanding my
knowledge of the fashion industry.

- AW20 Menswear showWithin my internship at Acne Studios I supported the Menswear product development team with the development of the AW20 wardrobe and catwalk collections including being in daily contact with global suppliers and maintaining clear and strong communication. My main responsibilities within the role are to support with creating fit and construction comments on Prototypes, SMS and Pre-production samples and keeping all collection information in PLM up to date. - Bringing UK manufacturing back to Clarks in SomersetAfter I university I worked within Clarks new factory, Morelight, making desert boots. I joined Morelight before production began and was part of the team that got the factory up and running; this meant I learnt a huge amount about the development and implementation of a product in a factory setting.

Menswear Product Development Intern
Assisting Product developers with making comments on Prototypes, SMS and PPS with an emphasis on upholding quality standards.
Daily contact with global suppliers, maintaining a clear and strong communication.
Attending fit sessions and design passings.
Preparing technical packs for suppliers in collaboration with Product Developers.
Responsible for all incoming and outgoing packages.
Collecting fabric and trims for prototypes, SMS and PPS, to then be sent out to suppliers.
Keeping collection info up to date in PLM and development files including BOM’s, reviews and technical sketches.
Backstage at AW20 Show in Paris - dressing models, coordinating samples made at the in-house atelier and organizing the collections as well as flying to suppliers within Europe to collect show pieces.

Undertaken voluntary work experience within the Clarks Originals design team, alongside working full time within the production factory to developed my understanding of the footwear industry and how Clarks runs as a whole.
Working on creative projects to build my design skills and portfolio - Including trend/mood boards, market/customer research, design development, technical drawings.
Building skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
