With a strong focus on concept and playful colour I am a textile and multidisciplinary artist from London. The experiences of Black folk inform the concepts for a majority of my practice whilst incorporating aspects of my own identity. I have a strong desire to create work that highlights particular themes of Black culture and people that are so often neglected in the art and design world (the textile industry in particular) with a naive and comforting approach through and illustrative eye. Bold colours and graphic stylised drawing tend to convey a variety of conceptual themes in relation to Blackness through my practice. Although beginning a majority of my practice through digital process’ I thrive on bringing these designs out of a computer screen and incorporating more process led techniques to adapt my skills to any given brief.

- gal-dem X Justice 4 GrenfellI had the opportunity to design a t-shirt for gal-dem x Everpress 50/50 campaign which was to raise funds for J4G. This design sold out incredibly quickly and raised the most amount of money out of all the t-shirt designs for Justice 4 Grenfell which was incredibly overwhelming and an honour.
- Graduate Collection - "Friendly Faces"Friendly faces was one of two of my graduate collections that were both aimed at kids wear clothing. The aim of this collection is to bring a sense of inclusion to the children’s wear clothing industry in relation to race. Black and Brown children are not represented in the clothing that is available for their age group and that should change. We often see characters that are created for children’s clothing that tend to resemble the children that are wearing these clothes however it is rare that
