I am an artist + curator + gallery founder + producer.
Using installation, moving image, photography and sound to explore humanity's evolving understanding of Earth’s environments and the cosmos, I create objects and experiences that reflect the incomprehensible nature of reality, from the ocean floor to the night sky.
I am the Co-Director of Lumen, super/collider, Pale Blue Dot Collective, Print Science and Apogee Image.

- SALT, NORWAYWe are currently managing the international cultural travel project, which launched in spectacular fashion in August 2014 on a wild Arctic beach in the North of Norway. This cultural project centres around large scale, temporary architectural structures inspired by traditional Norwegian fish racks, which house a sauna, restaurant and bar and large scale events space. Hosting world class contemporary art commissions, live music, talks and film screenings, SALT will be on the site for a full year (until September 2015) before travelling to other Arctic countries over the next few years, including Greenland, Iceland and Denmark. The first site-specific art commission for the project, The Light That I Feel, is by Chinese artist Yang Fudong. Visitors can also stay on the beach in 'njalla' - small lodges which have been developed by a team of architects and artists. We took a group of international media to Norway for the launch including The Guardian, Financial Times, Scotland on Sunday, The Irish Times, Dazed, The Quietus, Wallpaper* and Art Review. Substantial global media coverage to date includes Sunday Times Style, The Guardian - World News, The Guardian – Travel, Marie Claire, Independent on Sunday, Metro, The Huffington Post, Liberation and The Art Newspaper, CNN.com, N by Norwegian (16 page feature), Dezeen, ArchDaily, ICON, International New York Times.3

Print Science is a research project with photographer John Hooper. This project is centred around finding historical representations of the night skies and the philosophies that have been imposed on them. Print Science collects 19th and early 20th century astronomy books and photographs the plates and engravings, preserving the books’ integrity for future generations. These images are then restored and presented with a contemporary aesthetic that captures humanity’s wonder of the heavens.
