About me
Stuck for words? I’m a freelance copywriter, editorial consultant, social media content producer and occasional food writer. I specialise in crafting compelling stories and content, mainly across digital channels. I've worked across a range of channels, including the food and drink sector (with the likes of Tesco, Meatopia and Emily Crisps), entertainment (The Great British Bake Off and EastEnders), and consumer brands (HSBC, Fanta, Virgin Holidays and Coca-Cola). I also work with a number of agencies including Mother London, Flipside/Weber Shandwick and Cedar Communications as an editorial consultant and copywriter. Before freelancing, I led the creative and content team at food and drink comms agency TASTE, and worked on the editorial team at creative digital agency We Are Social.

  • Emily Crisps
    Emily CrispsI worked with Emily Crisps on a rebranding project to develop their brand identity and tone of voice. I then put this into practice, rewriting all the on-pack copy.
  • BBC EastEnders
    BBC EastEndersI worked with the BBC from September 2018 - March 2019 as a freelance social media manager to create social media content for the TV show that lived across Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. My name was even in the 2018 Christmas episode credits, which was definitely a career highlight.
  • Ennismore
    EnnismoreEnnismore, the hospitality company behind The Hoxton hotels, enlisted me to help them with the launch of a new project in 2019. This involved devising a tone of voice and then copywriting a range of assets to launch and promote the project, including… - Social media ads - Print ads - Script and copy for a promotional video - In-house collateral - Newsletters and email marketing - Banner ads
  • Cedar Communications
    Cedar CommunicationsContent marketing agency Cedar enlisted me to run a series of workshops with the team behind one of their biggest clients’ Instagram channels. The client is one of the country’s leading supermarkets and the channel is entirely food-focused. The workshops were focused on rethinking the content strategy for the channel and devising a new and improved tone of voice.
