As office assistant / PA at SL Vision, I assist with the booking of film and television studio facilities, equipment and crew, as well as the smooth running of the office. This includes all administrative responsibilities, inclusive of generous PA duties to the CEO and office manager as well as dealing with telephone and email queries. I maintain and manage all aspects of the company’s social media including photoshop and video editing. As part of this role, I have been exposed to event planning and the processes of organising large scale affairs, liaising with a variety of VIP clients.
My job role includes greeting and approaching customers into the store and provide above excellent customer service. I advise customers and answer any queries they may have as well as carrying out general administration duties.
My role included working alongside the founder and lead videographer to create stunning videos for clients businesses as well as wedding videography. This included different types of film for a host of clients across multiple market sectors and all channels of communication. This job gave me an abundance of skills including, equipment proficiency, increased creativity, attention to details with the ability to multitask as well as dexterity, and good communication skills.
I obtained a 2:1 in this 75% practical course focused on a wide range of skills for filmmaking and screenwriting. It is underpinned and driven by storytelling, on set practice and employability skills.
