Jazz Residency and Function WorkThe Domino Club

Evening performances in The Domino Club consisted of mostly jazz, soul and r&b classics; though sometimes we re-imagined pop songs and added in extended funk jams. The sets were long and required a high level of vocal stamina. I used a disciplined approach to singing in order to maintain my voice throughout the performances. For each set I learnt many songs, memorising words to give the best performance possible. I found this easy by managing my time well and organising rehearsals as needed.
