  • HERSHEY TAKE 5 REMIXER
    HERSHEY TAKE 5 REMIXERThe limited edition TAKE5 Remixer is the first-ever packaging in the U.S. to use conductive ink to create music on the spot. Designed and developed by Novalia in collaboration with IPG Media Lab and Barkley, the TAKE5 Remixer is a musical throwback with a new take on the iconic ‘808’ drum machine. Novalia’s technology allows users to immediately remix music by touching hotspots on the outside of the box. The Take 5 Remixer includes five rows of three beats with pause and stop buttons to produce more than 30,000 unique track combinations. “With all the technology seamlessly blended inside the box, the Remixer allows consumers to take it with them on any adventure,” said Dan Mohnshine, director TAKE5 brand. “In a world of headphones and streamed music, the Remixer lets people collaborate together in a group music-playing experience.” The limited edition TAKE5 Remixer was released as part of Hotel Thrillist New Orleans, September 2016.   • BUD LIGHT SXSW
    BUD LIGHT SXSWWorking with MediaCom for Bud Light, Novalia created 4 interactive installations around Austin Texas for SXSW Music and Interactive 2016. The installations showcased how Bud Light champions both new music and innovation as one of the main sponsors at SXSW and curator of the Bud Light House. Novalia were commissioned to create a different installation in a variety of locations around the city- A 20 ft wall at the Austin Convention Centre, two installations in the VIP Lounge at the Bud Light House and a 50 ft playable wall on Brazos Street. Each playable wall allowed guests and attendees to remix music from artists such as X Ambassadors, Aluna George, Jack Garrett and Zedd. Touching the hotspots on the walls triggered a bluetooth MIDI signal to be sent into Ableton, launching and layering up loops, beats, vocals and individual instruments. Each installation included hundreds of touchpoints, allowing users to create their own unique remix through touching different combinations of hotspots, or collaborate together to create music. Users were able to listen wirelessly either through integrated speakers or through silent disco headphones, switching between three channels to listen to different live mixes. Novalia designed and produced the project in collaboration with MediaCom from concept and creative to music production, build and execution, using patented technology to create an immersive experiential environment.     INTERNATIONAL PAPERNovalia created a series of large format posters and handheld giveaways for International Paper at their 2016 conference. International Paper is a global leader in packaging and paper, making products that weave our world together. The musical posters showcased how traditional manufacturing processes and materials can be combined with new technology to create interactive experiences through touch and enrich consumer interaction with a brand.
