About me
Having just completed my final year at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton, studying Printed Textiles. I had initially gone to university with the intention of specialising in fashion design but my chosen option turned out to be the best decision I could have ever made. I am driven to continue developing my interest in printed textiles. It has led me down the fulfilling avenue of exploring screen printing techniques, the final results of which I find most rewarding. During my studies, I developed a detailed knowledge and deeper understanding of hand-rendered and digital printing techniques which I am able to apply in my theory and practical work. Inspired by nature, the majority of my work uses the colours found within and the healing properties that working with and studying nature provides. The love of nature also inspires me to achieve environmentally ethical products and I have a strong preference for working with viscose fibres as it helps me to feel even more connected with nature.During my studies, I developed a detailed knowledge and deeper understanding of hand-rendered and digital printing techniques which I am able to apply in my theory and practical work.
