RADIX; Roots in Latin. This project is my Final Major Project whilst studying at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton. My inspiration came from the use of natural healing methods, specifically researching the use of plants throughout various times in history, in particular medieval herbal manuscripts. My ideas began with my love for the healing powers of aromatherapy and was also influenced by my connection with the Seven Chakras. My aim was to incorporate the Chakras throughout my collection by using both colour and the plants associated with them.
