Marco Augelli is a film director and editor based in London, working for both personal and commissioned projects. After graduating with a degree in Digital Film Production from Ravensbourne University London, he went on to write and direct short experimental films and documentaries.

  R-RatedR Rated is an art book showcasing horror film stills. It explores the similarities and tropes characteristic of the genre with a playful and ironic tone. Being a horror fan myself, I’ve always appreciated the visual nuances of horror and how the genre manages to explore taboo topics in unconventional ways. This is often overlooked by who is not interested in the genre. I tried to interpret and translate these nuances into an art book, that would be accessible to more people.
