About me
I’m an Art Director and designer with over 20 years experience in both print and digital in publishing and advertising and content marketing agencies. My current client list includes netmums.co.uk, CAN Advertising, The Adplain Ltd, Armstrong & Partners, Ethical Angel, and London Marathon Events. Previously I have worked in various roles and agencies delivering design solutions for clients as varied as Novartis, Abbvie, Aer Lingus, Astra Zeneca, ATP Tour , Boots, Diesel, Genzyme, Marks & Spencer, Mazda, Merck, Mexico Tourist Board, Novo Nordisk, Pfizer, and Sergio Tacchini. My background in magazines mixed with my experience in the agency world gives me a unique balance of strategic and conceptual thought allied to a deep hands-on capability to personally deliver across the design process. I don’t believe Art Directors should only concept, just as I strongly believe artworkers and designers are fully capable of contributing to the concepting process and can often be the ones to bring that spark of an idea the makes an advert or a brand identity sing. I am known for working very fast, delivering creative on time, on brand, and on budget without compromising on lovingly crafted attention to detail. I bring a strong work ethic and an extremely varied skillset. Over the years I have designed everything from symptom tracker apps to HCP websites, touch screen interactive experiences to simple games, magazines to corporate branding, race signage to conference stage sets, new business pitch decks to iPad sales aids, podcast brand identity to social media channel branding. I have mentored junior designers, and led small creative departments, and I am very comfortable with direct client contact, as well as being one of those rare designers who believe the best outcomes only come about when creatives work hand in hand with account managers and bring clients along for the full journey.

    I’m a high-achieving Art Director and designer with over 20 years experience in both print and digital in publishing and advertising and content marketing agencies. In the last six months I have been freelancing at London Marathon Events where I've been responsible for successfully delivering both print and digital materials for all the major sports events in their portfolio: London Marathon, Ride London, The Big Half, Vitality 10k, Westminster Mile and Swim Serpentine. In the same period I have also been entrusted by netmums.co.uk to create presentation materials to roll out their new vision and the new message they are using to engage principal partner brands going forward and generate unprecedented interest in the netmums brand. Previously I have worked in various roles and agencies delivering design solutions for clients as varied as Diesel, Closed Jeans, Sergio Tacchini, Marks & Spencer, Mazda, Boots, Mexico Tourist Board, ATP Tour and Aer Lingus.
