Hi there! I'm a 2020 graduate of Edinburgh Napier University, where I studied an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design. I currently work part-time at lululemon Edinburgh whilst I work on freelance projects. I have strong passions for fitness, design, video games and cooking.Locked Pro Plan feature
At lululemon Edinburgh, my responsibilities include personal shopping, welcoming guests, educating on technical pieces, tills and cleaning. I have grown into the role of designing the temporary signage within the store, including the 'Community Board' a six foot tall chalkboard that is updated every month.
In June 2019, I was an intern for two weeks at Studio MB, a graphic design agency. I participated in live projects and client meetings. I was able to see all sides of a professional graphic design job – from the 3D team to costing, 2D to project managing, the team at Studio MB were more than happy to explain each part and truly involve me. This really helped me to understand how different departments in a design office can collaborate on projects.
My core responsibilities were handling stock, managing reductions, and answering any customer queries. Working in a team was the most rewarding aspect of the job; I enjoyed encouraging my colleagues to work collaboratively on a daily basis. Therefore communication had to be effective, especially during busy period such as Christmas.
My key responsibilities were the tills, food, drinks and cleaning. I provided high levels of customer service in a fast paced, dynamic environment. I received a Spotlight Award for excellent customer service.
I was responsible for welcoming students and guests, preparing and serving food, and cleaning. A key aspect of my role was the ability to be agile. I had to quickly adapt to whatever the demands were day-to-day.
I am currently awaiting the results of my undergraduate degree in Graphic Design at Edinburgh Napier University.
