About me
My name is Maria and I'm a writer, model and musician based in London after recently having graduated from UCL with a degree in Comparative Literature.
In terms of interests, I am currently researching the crossroads between poetry, music and storytelling. This interest has led me to curate a podcast which I independently host on Know Wave. In terms of career, currently I work for an online writing academy, which is something that I adore.
I'm seeking a position to further my interests in music, writing and the arts.

- Podcast / BirdsHave you ever seen a baby pigeon? Or a pigeon in the night? Where do they go? In the second, more lighthearted episode of my Avice Caro podcast series I try to make sense of one of my favourite creatures "birds". I explore bird as animal, as symbol, as metaphor and make use of poetry, classical myth and even song to better understand them. - Podcast / New BeginningsHere I approach new beginnings from a different perspective by exploring literary/music texts and personal experiences . I discuss womanhood, Greek myth, the changing of the seasons, post natal depression & many more through poetry and music by Sylvia Plath, Lermontov, Sibylle Baier and others!
