About me
As a designer with just over 13 years industry experience, creative strategy is at the core of how I work. Seeking to understand a client’s problem and develop this into an opportunity upon which to build success. Producing ambitious design that provides thoughtful, inspiring moments of engagement for the end user. Having worked predominantly in the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors I have built up a strong understanding of the evolving challenges that face clients in these sectors. Be it a challenge driven by social change or one driven by advances in technology, I am constantly seeking to challenge the norm and initiate conversations with the consumer and their changing habits. My experience to date has led me to be able to work effectively as part of a team and be responsible for and manage multi-disciplined project teams, providing creative lead, scheduling and costing projects, and delivering work on time. I often work directly with the client or act as the main point of contact with the client to understand their ambition and translate this into tangible creative and commercial results. I also have the experience of running my own company. As director of a small agency, I led a small team on a wide range of commercial projects, for a number of years. Experience has given me clear insight into both the challenges and rewards of working in this industry.

  • GO Outdoors!
    GO Outdoors!GO! Outdoors is a multi department sports retailer. Trading through a network of ‘big box’ retail spaces. I was asked to propose a new visual direction and retail stratergy for their fishing and cycling departments.
  • Majestic Wine - Mayfair
    Majestic Wine - MayfairInvited to create a new retail concept for Majestic Wine Warehouse. A 6 bottle mix and match ‘bulk buy’ wine retailer. Majestic had the desire to transform a handful of its best located stores into single bottle fine wine stores. Starting with their Mayfair location, the brief was to create a high-end store that complimented the stores locality and framed the products in an elegant and sophisticated manner. A simple strategy that required carful consideration at all stages.
