About me

I moved to the U.K from Poland in 2007. I passed my ESOL, GCSE’s, A levels and gained an Upper second class degree in Fine Art Photography. I am fluent in Polish and English both written and verbal. From 2011 I studied for BA Hons in Fine Art Photography mainly focusing on photomontage, constructivism and Dadaism. The subject of my dissertation was Polish 20th Century photomontage and Eastern European art movements. Part of my dissertation required me to translate a number of Polish art books into English. I graduated in 2014 with Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Photography with Upper Second Class. During my second year at university I started to freelance for various publications and websites this include The Ballad of, Beat and Don’t Panic, my main client being Vice magazine. Most of my work entailed creating artworks for articles from mixture of digital media and various found images. In my third year I started to work for my current employer Superdry. From working as a sales assistant, I now hold the role of senior sales assistant/operations specialist/junior supervisor. My daily tasks involve managing all deliveries, shipments and store to store transfers. Collating all recalled and faulty stock into Excel spreadsheets for head office, updating store stock levels and stocktake preparations as well as communicating with the head of operations. Daily team briefs as well as running back of house team. Over my two years with the company I have been to a number of training seminars focused on customer service, product knowledge and sales techniques.
