Hello, my name is Martina Formilli Fendi, I'm from Rome, Italy, I'm currently studying at Ravensbourne University London, pursuing a BA in Graphic design. I have a strong passion for the Arts since a was a child I constantly was drawing and questioning art. I'm a very enthusiastic and solar person. I have many interests in life, which all of them are connected with my passion. I feel that a good designer is someone who manages to relate and communicate to people by expressing it in their own way, which could be through drawing, photography, painting, digital art, dancing and many more.
Projects
- Typography ProjectThe creation of this modular typeface is influenced by a designer: M/M Paris. I wanted to convey the idea of layering through the comparison of M/M Paris contrasting education and influences. I depicted the Swiss education, with geometrical solid forms, and rebelling against it with asymmetrically layered modules suggesting to the Punk Aesthetics period.
- Loop ProjectFor this project, I created a short looping animation to promote Sadlers Well Theatre based in London, presenting SIGMA as my chosen dance company. I had various considerations to make such as: - The sort of dance and the nature of the show they are performing. - Communicating in a way and engage the audience. - Strong feature typography using textual content that persuades the viewer to book a ticket. - Experimenting and understand the impact my design (characteristics of typeface, layout,

Hotel assistantVilla Perast Hotel Montenegro

I worked for this small luxury hotel in Montenegro as an assistant to the contractor and architect. My job aims where to contribute to the dressing of the hotel shop window researching graphics, commercial images, following the design process. As well as working alongside the construction team painting and decorating public spaces.
