I find inspiration is everything, from film and music to history and politics, and I'm always on the look out for more and more inspiration to feed into my work.   Reminiscence (Free School Milk 1971)This was part of my Reminiscence project (see last post) and aimed to comment on and parody Thatcher removing free school in 1971, while looking as though it was designed at the time.
• Reminiscence 1970-1989This project was all about creating assets for a fake 1970s/1980s corner shop window display. I wanted the designs to look and feel like they were created at the time, and to also comment on political or negative aspects of history. The examples below comment on issues such as the Cold War and threat of nuclear attack, Edwina Currie falsely stating that most eggs in the UK were infected with salmonella, and Britain's response to the falling of the Empire.
