About me
I am a creative director, employing art direction, graphic design and typeface design across analogue, digital and experiential mediums. I am a co-founder of Spencer Fenton a creative direction and design studio working at the intersection of culture and commerce based in London and working internationally. Alongside Spencer Fenton, I am a co-founder of British Standard Type a new digital type foundry dedicated to exploring the creative potential of type technologies and creating custom and retail typefaces. I also co-publish the arts and culture magazine Verities, a self-published title, conceived, edited & designed by Spencer Fenton and subtitled ‘The Anthropology of Modern Culture’.

    NATAAL MediaNataal is a new global media brand and publishing platform celebrating contemporary African fashion, music, arts and society. Spencer Fenton were commissioned to produce a headline/display typeface that would build upon the ideas of Nataal and supply a highly-recognisable typeface that would stand them apart from other publishers.

    SelahatinSelahatin was founded in 2016 by Kristoffer Vural, who was inspired by the world of perfumes and approached Spencer Fenton to translate its emotional and visual experience to oral care. Spencer Fenton responded with a comprehensive strategy and creative that leverages the tropes of the fashion canon and hyper-specific cultural codes to mark it as integral and distinct.
