About me
I am a graduate, looking for an opportunity to work within the advertising/marketing industry. I’ll be honest. What I can offer you is not developed, world-class expertise or a massive amount of experience. I’m young, only just left university and have much to learn. What I will bring to your organisation though is a zeal to learn, bolstered by a deep understanding of people cultivated through being educated and growing up in the melting pot that is East London. I’ve been fortunate to have had an education that provided exposure to a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures. I’ve grown up with the belief that ‘variety is the spice of life’ and the more perspectives you take in, the more you understand your fellow human beings. My fixation on this idea is one of the reasons I am looking for a career in advertising. In essence, advertising/marketing is the art of knowing what makes us tick.     Fat Annies vegan re-brandConducting freelance marketing work for a street food vendor based in Leeds with colleagues I had met at Lancaster University to gain experience.     M&C Saatchi Open House - WinnersIn a team of seven, we ideated a campaign pitch for the telecommunications company, O2, within a week. This included strategy and insights, the big idea, mocked-up deliverables such as a TVC script, Snapchat/ Instagram stories, an execution timeline, and a media plan. The pitch was presented to and judged by executives from M&C Saatchi, including the CEO and Managing Director of M&C Saatchi Sport and Entertainment. It was also judged by O2's Head of Brand and Consumer Marketing Communications.
