My name is Mattia Turchetti, I come from Naples (Italy). I am an expert sound designer/ technician based in London. I achieved a degree in Music and Sound Design at London South Bank University and an MA in Sonic Art at Goldsmiths University.
This racing has given me knowledge in the musical field and technology but above all in using D.A.W. such as Pro Tools, Ableton, FMOD Studio and Unity, but also provided the possibility of placing in many projects both in audio for a film and also sound for video games.
I collaborated with film directors and private customers for music or sound design production. I have good technical skills in sound engineering, music theory, composition, production and Djing.
In October 2022 I had the opportunity to collaborate with Tom David Hughes as a Sound Designer for the show “Boy” at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. After that, I started a new job as a sound technician n:1 for the show Blippi at the Lyric Theatre.
I am an electronic music producer. I produce Techno Music under the alias M.F.S: Observatory and ambient music under the alias Tia-Mellow, I have had releases on several essential record labels in the sector and I made a collaboration with many established artists like Maya Jane Coles. At last, I am also a DJ and manage my label Observatory Music.
My strong love of music and excellent knowledge and experience lend well to my work as a sound designer. ... I love creating music and sound effects that help keep the audience engrossed in the production. I work well with others and am able to take direction from the production manager.
