- Final year projects from universityDuring my final year I designed the Flexed Coffee Table and YC Whisky Glasses. Flexed Coffee Table: The Coffee table explored using leather to create a surface for a coffee table that could be developed into a range. The leather was taut using a woven parachord to tighten the leather below the frame. The method was thoroughly research and explored though modelling. Due to Covid 19 I was let go from the company. During my short time at Sketch Studios, I worked with a small and dynamic team of designers and sales employees. I worked on: Auto CAD floor plans, created sketch up models of office spaces, and created presentations on indesign. I surveyed spaces with my manager, sat in client meetings as well as meeting with suppliers. One of my favourite parts of this job, was helping to pick colours, patterns and textures of fabrics used for the interiors.

During my experience working for Corndell I worked on designing basic 2D technical drawings for bedroom, living, dining and occasional ranges, for Europe, America and Australia. I worked on: brochures, POS boards, business cards, advertisements for magazines and postcards. I helped to organise photo shoots, on and off site, as well as working at the design shows. One task was to design floor plans for one particular show and showroom, in house, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I frequently liaised with the team in Vietnam and enjoyed building relationships with overseas colleagues. Finally, I would put together presentations for launching new ranges.
