Senior Designer & Business StrategistLondon, United Kingdom
About me
I am an enthusiastic entrepreneur, design & business manager and strategist. I specialise in leading the design of cutting-edge digital initiatives and strategic market plans that disrupt traditional markets and transform the user experience. I am passionate about delivering a fusion of science, art and design to create innovative human-centred initiatives that leave a genuine lasting impact on consumer welfare. I have significant experience in leading and managing start-ups, working closely and collaborating with the private sector organisations and currently consulting for a global corporation as a business strategist and innovation expert. My working experience accounts for 10+ years in different industries, spanning from design, technology, arts and science. I have co-founded, led and managed four companies so far.

Neurodesign & pufferfish mechanismsHOW CAN WE HARNESS OUR UNCONSCIOUS PREFERENCES (COGNITIVE BIASES) TO LEARN MORE ABOUT OURSELVES? I have always thought that designers resemble an octopus. With our "tentacles”, we take bits and pieces from a wide variety of fields to create innovative human-centred initiatives that leave a genuine lasting impact on consumer welfare. I designed Hu-mind, a tech wearable connected to the brain. When the system detects an unconscious preference happening through the brain activity, it alerts the

Opalescent swimming jellyfishI explored the visual nuances of an 18th century Venetian opalescent glass bowl as revealed under certain lighting conditions, and its analogy to bioluminescent sea creatures. The project was held at The Courtauld Gallery in London. My aim was to showcase the piece in a way that spoke to the user. Sometimes, when looking at a gorgeous art piece and eager to know more about it, reading the label “Oil in Canvas” doesn’t reveal much of the piece and therefore there is no connection between the a

Successfully recruited a set of client organisations and worked in partnership with the London School of Economics to research and create a new scientific-based approach to enhancing mental wellbeing. This allowed the fusion of behavioural psychology with creative art materials and guided audio therapy. Transformed the wellbeing of 50+ students during the pilot launch of our new physical and UX art experience and demonstrated a notable increase in wellbeing compared to the school’s traditional methods.

My research work oscillated within the intersection of the arts and the sciences while challenging our ongoing relationship with technology. My Master's project focused on making tangible the scientific intangibles through the arts and design. Research project: Hu-mind [hyoo-mah-ynd] Sensing our unconscious decisions. Hu-mind enables new ways of being by augmenting the human mind, made possible through the mechanisms of cognitive biases; those predictable, systematic errors in our decision making.
