I am a London based Photographer , Creative Director and Founder of Aether Magazine.
In 2015, I launched my independent publication Aether Magazine during my foundation at Camberwell College of Arts. Inspired by my peers, I was driven to create a platform for young creatives to showcase their work in print. Following this, Aether was given commendation by the Stack Magazine Awards in 2018 and went on to create 15 print issues. In July 2021, I collaborated with the Every Woman Biennial exhibition in Copeland Gallery to launch The Graduation Issue. This was Aether's special edition that celebrated all the work we that has been featured alongside new content. I currently independently curate, design and direct the production of Aether.
In February 2022, I partnered up on behalf of Aether with Logitech for their POP event to celebrate the launch of their new POP mouse and keyboards. I displayed some of my favourite works from the magazine as a way to celebrate the 7th anniversary as a publication. Alongside this Aether also had a pop up shop in the space where visitors could purchase copies and merch.
On the 17th of March, Aether will exhibit as part of the International Women's Month at the Creative Debuts x Adidas event. You can find more information on the event here: https://creativedebuts.co.uk/pages/adidas.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, I have hosted a series of online seminars for my fellow young creatives, sharing my experiences with my peers. Topics included starting your own magazine, creating without funding and sharing her experience the editorial process. In March 2021, I collaborated with Exeter University’s Roots Resistance Collective to host an online seminar about Aether Magazine. I will be continuing these talks from the 20th of March, starting with the new seminar 'Navigating the Creative Industry: Tips for Young Creatives. Tickets for this seminar are available to purchase here: https://the-dots.com/events/navigating-the-creative-industry-tips-for-young-creatives-9648
Alongside my work with Aether, I also work as a freelance photographer, creative director and content creator. One of my most recent collaborations was with the wonderful D&AD for the New Blood Awards, a competition giving young creatives an opportunity to break into the industry.
In the summer of 2022, I will go on to complete my Masters in Fashion Photography London College of Fashion.
